Favour of the Forest is one of the highlights I discovered by Chef Alyssa and her guest, Okera. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with the surrounding forest by listening to its sounds, embracing its beauty, tasting its offerings, and learning how to create products from the trees. This experience showcases the local intellectual property developed by the artisan village near AlyssaKK. It was truly amazing, just a 2-hour journey from Bangkok. My guest and I left feeling inspired by this therapeutic connection to the forest. A car for 4 people can be arranged to pick you up from your hotel to the KaengKraChan in Petchaburi at 15K from HuaHin/Petchaburi City
You can, again, use Line TD/Wechat ID to book the Weekend Tour 3 days in advance. Please also discuss the number of people in a minimum of 2-10 people as a couple/group. The price includes one night at AlyssaKK Mountain Home, but does not include transportation from Bangkok to Petchaburi ( please discuss the arrangement of a car pick up separately)
- 9.00 - 10 am: After the night on the mountain, we offer you a ride on a farmer's side motor;) You will enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way to the food shop.
- 10.15 - 11 pm: Forage for produce and treebank
- 11 - 1.30 pm: Visit ChamChuRee River Market. Experience local life and vibrant culture, where local dishes are showcased for you to savour the flavours of the forest.
This is on weekend booking only
- 1.30 - 2 pm: Create delicious Thai crepe rolls with a local chef, but be prepared to feel the heat as you roll the hot crepe from the stovetop.
- 2 - 3 pm: Enjoy tasting very local, old traditional food of Petchaburi
- 3 - 4 pm: Visit KaengKraChan Dam and the National Park, taste the local coffee along the
reservoir
- 4.30 pm: Drive back to Alyssakk Mountain Home
